Brushless Motor Technology
Brushless gate motors are designed differently from older-style brushed motors. They remove the physical brush wear point and allow smoother electronic control of the motor movement.
We use Roger Technology gate automation because it gives us a high-quality brushless platform for swing gates, sliding gates and automatic barriers. It allows us to specify gate motors and control systems around the entrance, rather than fitting basic automation that is not suited to the gate weight, usage or site conditions.
Gate automation is only as good as the equipment, installation and commissioning behind it. We use Roger Technology because their range gives us proper options for swing gates, sliding gates, automatic barriers, control units, radio controls and accessories.
That matters because not every entrance needs the same motor. A pair of timber swing gates, a heavy sliding gate, a commercial barrier and a high-use entrance all need different automation choices.
Roger Technology’s official range includes solutions for sliding gates, swing gates, automatic barriers, control units, radio controls and security accessories. Their BH30 series is listed as brushless sliding gate motors up to 1000kg, which gives us a strong platform for heavier sliding gate projects.
The main reason we use Roger Technology is the combination of brushless automation, product range, control options and installation flexibility.
Brushless gate motors are designed differently from older-style brushed motors. They remove the physical brush wear point and allow smoother electronic control of the motor movement.
Roger Technology has solutions for both swing gates and sliding gates. That allows us to choose the right automation platform for the gate type, rather than forcing one setup onto every entrance.
Roger also provides automatic barrier solutions, which makes it useful for commercial premises, car parks, vehicle entrances and sites that need controlled access without a full gate system.
A reliable gate system needs more than a motor. Roger’s range includes control units, radio controls, receivers and accessories that help build a complete automation setup.
Brushless automation allows controlled acceleration, slowdown and stopping when installed and configured properly. That helps create a smoother, more refined gate movement.
The equipment still needs to be specified, installed and commissioned properly. We use Roger Technology as part of a complete gate system, not as a shortcut around good installation.
The right automation depends on how the entrance moves. We use Roger Technology where the product range and specification suit the gate type, gate weight, usage level and access requirements.

Traditional brushed motors rely on physical contact between brushes and the motor commutator. Over time, those contact parts can wear. Brushless motor technology removes that brush contact point and uses electronic control instead.
In gate automation, this can help with smoother movement, refined slowdown, better control and reduced mechanical wear inside the motor. It does not mean the gate can be ignored or left unmaintained, but it gives us a better technical base to work from.
The most important point is specification. A brushless motor must still be matched to the gate weight, gate type, duty level, wind exposure, usage pattern and safety requirements.
We use Roger Technology because the equipment gives us a strong automation platform, but the motor alone does not make a gate safe or reliable. The gate still needs the right structure, posts, hinges or sliding hardware, safety devices, access control and commissioning.
A well-installed Roger Technology system should be specified around the entrance. That includes gate weight, gate movement, daily use, wind exposure, power supply, access control and safety risk points.
We follow HSE powered gate safety guidance when installing automated gate systems.
This page is specifically about Roger Technology gate automation and why we use it. It is not intended to replace our main electric gates, gate automation or barrier service pages.

Common questions about Roger Technology, brushless motors, swing gates, sliding gates, barriers and gate automation installation.
Yes. We use Roger Technology gate automation where it is the right specification for the entrance. We use it for suitable swing gates, sliding gates, barrier systems and complete automated gate installations.
Roger Technology is an Italian gate automation manufacturer. Its range includes automation for sliding gates, swing gates, automatic barriers, control units, radio controls and accessories.
Digital brushless gate automation uses brushless motor technology with electronic control. In practical terms, it gives the installer a more refined motor platform for smoother movement, slowdown and control when it is correctly specified and commissioned.
Yes. Roger Technology offers sliding gate automation, including brushless sliding gate motors. Their official BH30 range is listed for brushless sliding gates up to 1000kg.
Yes. Roger Technology provides swing gate automation options. The correct motor depends on the gate size, hinge position, post layout, gate weight and usage level.
No. Good equipment is only one part of the system. The gate must still be designed, installed, wired, commissioned and maintained correctly with the right safety devices for the site.
We can survey your entrance, explain whether Roger Technology is the right choice, and specify the correct gate motor, access control and safety setup for your swing gate, sliding gate or barrier system.
