Every project starts with a proper site survey. We check the entrance, access, levels, ground conditions and how the finished gate or automation system needs to be used.
Where a bespoke gate is required, it is designed around the entrance and made to order. Installation is carried out by our own team, with the specification, safety and finish checked before handover.

What does Perimeter Fencing and Gates specialise in?
Perimeter Fencing and Gates specialises in bespoke driveway gates, electric gates and gate automation, including automating gates you already have. We cover homes and estates across Hampshire, including Romsey, Southampton and Winchester. We also supply and fit aluminium gates, security barriers and security fencing.
Where are you based?
We are based locally, near Romsey and Totton in Hampshire. Every gate is specified and checked before our own team installs it.
Do you carry out site surveys?
Yes. Every job starts with a site survey. We measure the entrance, check levels, ground and drainage, and look at how the gate will be used, so we can specify the right gate and motors.
How are your bespoke gates made?
Our gates are made to order to suit your entrance. We handle the survey, specification, installation and aftercare. We install bespoke steel-framed gates with timber or composite infill, alongside traditional hardwood gates in Iroko and Sapele.
Do you install electric gates and automation?
Yes. We install complete electric gate systems using Roger Technology brushless motors, with safety edges, photocells and access control such as GSM intercoms, keypads and remote fobs.
Who installs the gates?
Our own installation team fits every gate, and our electrician runs the power supply to the gate. We commission and force-test every automated gate ourselves before handover.
Can you automate my existing gates?
Yes. We automate existing swing and sliding gates across Hampshire. We check the posts, hinges and gate frame first, and if anything needs fixing before the motors go on, we tell you straight. Every system uses Roger Technology motors with safety edges and photocells, and is force-tested before handover.
Do you provide written quotes?
Yes. After the survey we send a written quotation covering the gate specification, motors, access control, safety equipment and groundwork.
How long does a new gate take?
