Automatic Barriers & Car Park Barrier Installation in Ringwood
Ringwood's business areas sit right by the A31 and A338, and that brings plenty of passing traffic. We install automatic barriers for industrial estates, trade and business premises, commercial yards and private developments in and around the town.

Business Sites Close to the A31 and A338
Ringwood's commercial land is clustered close to its main roads. Headlands Business Park and the units behind it sit off the A338 Salisbury Road just north of the A31. Ringwood Trading Estate is on Castleman Way, with Endeavour Business Park and its open storage compounds reached from Crow Arch Lane, and newer business space at Platinum Jubilee Business Park.
Sites next to major roads see a lot of passing traffic, and that includes people looking for somewhere to park, turn round or leave a vehicle. Storage yards and compounds also need protecting when nobody is there. A barrier gives you control without the cost of staffing the entrance.

Simple access for regular users.
ANPR
Hands-free entry for registered vehicles.
GSM intercom
Visitors call a mobile so the barrier can be opened from anywhere.

About the Barriers We Fit
We install Roger Technology barriers. Their brushless motors are designed for frequent operation and move smoothly. We choose the model and arm length to suit the opening and how often it will be used.
Options include LED-lit arms, battery backup on many models and a manual release so the arm can be raised during a power cut.

Ringwood Barrier FAQs
We run a storage compound in Ringwood with lots of tenants. What access works best?
Keypads with individual codes are usually easiest, as each code can be cancelled when a tenant leaves. Fobs or ANPR can be added for regular users.
Our yard is next to the main road and people pull in to turn round. Will a barrier stop it?
Yes. A barrier set back from the road with enough space to turn stops vehicles entering the yard without permission.
Do you cover areas across the Dorset border?
Yes. As well as Ringwood and Poulner we cover St Leonards, St Ives, Ashley Heath and Verwood, and Fordingbridge to the north.
What if the power fails?
The arm can be released and raised by hand, and battery backup is available on many models.
How much does it cost?
That depends on the barrier, access control and groundwork. We provide a written quote after a free survey.
